MEDICAL STRATEGY & EDUCATION
Our Medical Strategy & Education team helps pharmaceutical companies to educate doctors and other healthcare professionals about the medicines they produce and the conditions they treat. Our medical writers, scientific strategists and client partners have strong scientific credentials, and are able to develop a range of materials and events (including congress reports, slide kits, interactive training materials, videos, animations, podcasts, symposia, and other meetings) that are both scientifically sound and engaging for busy healthcare professionals. Close connections with the other three disciplines mean we gain creative inspiration for our work and can draw on wide-ranging expertise to deliver innovative projects that will really make a difference.
CLINICAL TRIAL EXPERIENCE
Understanding the people involved in any clinical trial lies at the heart of our Clinical Trial Experience (CTE) discipline. Our team partners with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies across the whole trial journey, from understanding how we can motivate people to engage with a clinical trial, to crafting creative campaigns to get the study noticed by the people who need to see it. The nature of CTE means that every day is different – we never know what brief will come through the door next. But we do know that we’ll have the chance to play a role in bringing a potential new treatment to market. That’s a pretty meaningful way to spend a day at work, right?
PR & POLICY
In an era of echo chambers, dumbing down and polarisation, our PR & Policy team brings thought-provoking health stories to the world. Our team crafts communications and campaigns for the biggest pharma brands. We partner with them from start to finish: from birthing their strategy to distributing our award-winning content across the ever-growing spectrum of traditional, digital and social channels. We are Langland’s collaboration epicentre: a third of our work is cross-discipline, partnering with our colleagues in Clinical Trial Experience, Medical Strategy & Education and Advertising, and the vast majority is pan-European or global in nature.
Our Advertising team fights for ideas: infectious, fascinating, and beautifully crafted. Our clients range from the biggest global brands to charities and boutique start-ups. We put our hearts, souls and brains to work on large global launch campaigns, brand campaigns, patient campaigns and disease awareness campaigns, deploying our ideas in unexpected and powerful ways. It’s this passion that has made us one of the most creatively awarded healthcare agencies in the UK. We’re also one of the only agencies in the world to win awards across both pharmaceutical and consumer award shows.
